One of my strict rules is zero drinking the day before and the day of a wedding. Not even a glass of wine with dinner.

Yet, my work started long before then! I consulted with my client. I scouted locations and prepared my equipment. I studied my notes. I got up early on the big day, double checked all of my equipment one last time, packed up, and began my drive to arrive early.

After a wedding, it is not unusual for me to get home after midnight. Unwinding feels wonderful after the wedding day! This includes putting my feet up, Netflix, a late night snack -- and a glass of bourbon.
